Kingfisher Club
Kennet Valley Primary offers an After School Club, which runs from 3:20 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. during term time.
Children are provided with a snack, including toasties, wraps, sandwiches, fruit, vegetable crudités, and, on special days, hot dogs and ice lollies or make your own pizza. After snack time, children can enjoy a variety of activities such as games, puzzles, drawing, crafting, a reading/quiet area and—weather permitting—outdoor play. Activities outside include bat and ball games, gardening, and water play during the summer months.
Although a wide variety of activities will be on offer, including the opportunity for children to do their homework, we will not make a child participate in any activity they do not wish to. We can encourage them to take part – however we will not make any activity compulsory. The emphasis will be on free choice and enjoyment.
Our staff ensure that children have a safe, happy space to be themselves, interact with friends, and explore their creativity. Many children enjoy their time so much that they’re reluctant to leave when it’s time for pick-up!
The club is divided into 2 sessions as follows:
Session 1 - 3:20 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. charged at £7
Session 2 - 3:20 p.m. – 5:45 p.m. charged at £13.50
Please note: At the end of every full term, Kingfisher Club closes at 3:30 p.m., and the session is charged at £10
Please call 07598 513 655 when collecting your child, and they will be brought to you outside the reception area. If someone other than yourself will be collecting your child, please inform the school office in advance.

Payment Information
Payment can be made through ParentPay or via Childcare and Tax Credit Vouchers. If using vouchers, please notify us of your voucher provider so we can ensure they are registered in our system.
